Right. Due to water under the passenger carpet, in recent weeks I have:
1. Disconnected the battery
2. Removed the passenger seat
3. Dried it out
4. Put it all back
5. Plugged the battery back in
The battery was dead, so trickle charging it, but after a while there was enough to start up.
Firstly, the air-bag light has come on, which is annoying as I didn't ever have the battery connected whilst the passenger seat was unplugged. I guess that my local expert (Autotech) can reset that for me though with the correct odb tools.
More worryingly, the roof has no power at all. No motor noise, no red light, no orange light. No power at all.
Where should I start my search for the solution? Fuses? An unplugged wire somewhere? In my experience, even if the micro-switch is playing up, you'll get a red flashing light. I've never seen nothing at all. It was working fine last time the battery was connected, as I lowered the roof to get the passenger seat out. (And then raised it manually).
I'm going to leave it to trickle charge fully (and probably order a new battery as this might be a bit past it), just in case lack of power was something to do with it.
