im slowly putting right my new toy, and now i have done the important jobs its now onto the niggly unimportant ones - so.. i have no power on the multi cd changer, i have checked the cd changer fuse n48 with no joy, all is ok there, any other reasons it might have no power ? i am assuming there is a light on like the tired sat nav above it ..which dont work well, but has a light on , so thoughts gents ?

Not sure mate. Sometimes when I press the button it makes a noise and sometimes it doesn’t even try to turn on or eject. Think mine is jammed

Is it plugged in at the back, previous owner may have had a streaming box that plugged in, in its place,

When my battery is low then mine doesn’t work, can’t eject the cassette, once fully charged all’s good, how’s your battery?

prolly right, i dont even know where to begin except maybe give it a whack a few times to see if it will dislodge itself?

plugged in ? how do i check ?
In the boot pull the bulkhead carpet up in the middle an you should be able to see the back of the changer

There’s a couple of pics where to look if you search for my GROM thread

It might also be unplugged at the head unit if a previous owner had a Parrot etc plugged in.
