also want to get some whiter LED ones, do people know if these need to be CANBUS ones on the Z?

pays your money takes your chance, mine are canbus and still throw error when I put them into the golf

Andysat I fitted these as licence plate LEDs - output is great. Had tried bulbs with less LEDs and swapped them as they were dimmer than oem bulbs

Just to add. Checking my eBay purchases I actually paid £5.98 incl postage in fleabay so price around

The price varies quite a lot,does the shape of the actual bulb matter?-i have never seen my number plate bulbs,there are a lot of wedge types on fleabay-any good?

Yeah eBay for these is ok. Has to be a T10 501 wedge type though

Raidanuk, just to confirm, the LEDs In the link are the ones you fitted without issue or the fault lights,
