I have to say that when I went under the knife last year, the messages of support, some public and some private, were very welcome and re assuring !

Yes and you don't shout about your things too much Ronk like I probably do, it's not sympathy chasing it's just I like to hear of other people's experiences of similar things. Having said that I've had some very nice PM's, and from some who are having a really rough time.

There are some really nice folk on here.

Cheers Jim, time to see what daytime TV is all about...probably for about 20mins...bore fest..

Free pens from Michael Parkinson, equity release plans, funeral plans, ppi claims and Jeremy Kyle - oh and midsummer murders.
Don't bother - it's crap!

Don't forget the unalloyed joy of being at home to receive all those cold calls regarding 'PPI claims', 'viruses on your computer' and 'personal accident compensation'... :headbang:

If I get a person on the other end I sometimes play a West Country farmer that has ignored modern life Perry, it's quite a laugh if you're in the mood, which I'm not at the mo so it'll be a feck off... :P

Fella came this morning to confirm the value of my Zed - Disco was done yesterday. The purchase deposit has been paid and a contract signed - now I wait for confirmation that they can have the car from the other dealer. It's the only car on Bmws internal system with most of my spec.

Now I have a warfarin clinic appointment - then its emptying the old D3 of ten years of add on and knick knacks then putting the standard spare back underneath etc.

I will have to miss my daytime Tv

This is what it supposed to look like - I hope they remember to put the wheel on the right side!
Last I heard it was 95% certain!

Worry not about not getting coral red Ronk, black looks classy in a mineral grey car IMHO, it'll be a fantastic looking car, subtle but still wow... :D

Thank for the vote of confidence in the colour scheme. I had a choice - Hobson's! It was the only one on the list that had the MUST haves - I was sat in the managers office at his desk (not the sales manager either) and he showed me the BMW ordering system status and demonstrated these were the only cars I could possibly choose from.
I feel confident as the fella is a family friend!

The job over the weekend is to sort my old Disco3 out - taking odds and ends out of it - I know I have made the decision to sell for good reasons but I'll miss it - not the 23mpg tho!

We are taking the 3.0l to Germany and Netherlands and the new toy will be ready mid September .
I wish we weren't going on holiday now! :D

I'm sure it'll be plenty fast enough fo an old boy - I'm a wee bit concerned about hill starts - I haven't seen or heard much about hill assist and how it operates :)
Time will tell - it can't be that bad or I would have heard!
