Well now!

I've also been into see them today - the build slot is not 100% certain tho. Bmw seem to be holding their cards close at the mo.
The downside of today's visit is that I now am no so certain re colour and trim, do I go for a Red car or Mineral Grey?
A red car would have to have Beige leather but what colour leather in the Mineral Grey car ???

The discounts on a 35is were £6.5k (a Bmw printed sheet)

They also need to look at my Disco before a firm valuation. That's the task on Thursday!

Mineral grey and red leather obviously  - looks ace

Now I'm waiting of the dealer to phone back to confirm that I have my build slot.
My spec is being submitted so I hope I've listed all I want.

If all goes to plan it will be Mineral Grey & Red Coral

Now I wait for the confirmation phone call.

Have to say i'm surprised to read about chopping in a PCP to start another one! Couldn't be a more expensive way of buying a manual version of the same car!

Hopefully you get a decent deal :)

Which is why if I can't get a better deal than I have so far by phone I won't be doing it Jimmy, I've got a deal in mind that they'll say yes or no to, if not then it's a no go. It's not just the gearbox though, it's the colour and more supple nappa extended leather that appeals as well. There's a limit to what I'll go to for these, so we'll see.

Going in for 4pm Ronk, surgery is at 7pm, problem is we need to get my warfarin levels down to 1.3 or under and I was 2.1 yesterday as I carried on taking it after Saturday because they postponed the op, now it's back on the nurse gave me some vitamin K to bring it down, I made a kale and spinach smoothie which lowers warfarin levels and we can have another dose of vitamin K at 4pm today so fingers crossed it'll get down low enough that the surgeon will go ahead, here's hoping!!

My INR hover at 2.5 but the fella always boasts he could reduce them quite abruptly!
All the best for this evening - it puts the wait of a confirmation or otherwise from the bmw garage into perspective.

Will you be in for a couple of days?

Yes I hover at 2.5 as well. Hopefully just in one night, depends how it goes. Nerves kicking in a bit now, it'll be fine but you get that tingling in your guts don't you..

No it's exciting for you, you'll get the deal I'm sure.

I've just had the call from the dealer (no 2)- there are no available slots to be had.
There are cars being built but are allocated to dealers - in order to get a new car it would not be exactly to my spec :(

Not sure I'd be investing in a 35iS with only £6.5k discount - gotta be a fair depreciation hit no matter what the replacement is (it's got to be better ;) ).

It wont be the last of the twin turbo 3.0 dct models from BMW

Comfort, connected drive package, adaptive light, heated seats, posh speakers .
The discount was on his sheet. He says no wiggle room. - I haven't signed yet!!!!
There is always wriggle room even if it's add ons

Sytners Nottingham have slots if it's of any use to you Ronk, ask for David Park.
