"No magazine"

I tried to change from disc 6 to 3 in my multichanger however it froze, won't play and now says 'no magazine'

I can see the cassette/cd tray is still inserted into the reader however it won't remove it or change CD trays - when I hit the green eject button it won't pop out either as it's still inserted to the reader...

Is there a quick fix or is my mulit changer broken??

Tap it with the wooden end of a small hammer as you press the button.It will release after a few taps. They all get a bit stuck after a while.
