I've got a real soft spot for a genuine S5, and it was on the "list" along with the Z4MC, but in the end it felt like I had to do the M car thing. A mate has a 2.0T version and it's quick (enough), quiet and very stylish.

This diesel version could do with losing the badge and the stupid numberplate and then it makes it a nice car IMHO. You could easily tell it's not an S5 as a legit one sounds pretty thunderous, whereas a diesel, I suspect will not.
