Thanks and good idea if I have no luck.I have seen a few but either low spec or a bit to old,or mileage up..
This will be kept for many years i suspect so I will just keep looking for now..

Many thanks for that.I had seen the ad..It does almost meet my needs,however it does not have Nav which I would need as I hate balancing a phone on a stand to get maps.
There is a slightly older one that has it all except the interior is black.I keep looking at the two colour interiors and the beige leather for me looks so much better..

Looks like the options are 28i Nav + good spec with black or 20i with no nav and beige.

Either if them are good, but not many 28s around.

Nav is nice, but not essential. You can windscreen mount your phone...
 
Or retrofit iDrive.

Until very recently I would have said that was beyond being a financially viable option, but now I see the progress David has made in recent weeks it makes a retrofit a bit more within reach - though I suppose there are a painful amount of man hours behind that thread.
 
Thanks Guys...battling in my head to the best way forward..
I have waited this long and have come close and I do think the perfect spec car(for me) will come if I just keep trawling and be patient.

As others have suggested id look to forgetting your interior colour, if the perfect car comes up without beige leather having a retrim is quick and easy these days :thumbsup:

Is nav that important? I guess depends on wherever you plan to drive it. Would it not be easier to retrofit the nav rather than to retro fit the seats/interior. And your opening title was beige leather, rather than e89 with sat nav.

swapping out interior is a walk in the park in comparison to retrofitting idrive

It would have Sat Nav and electrically adjustable seats,along with the other bits like heated seats,comfort pack etc.
The more spec the better.
Preferably low miles and ownership with service history

I know its a big ask but if anyone has one and wants to sell then let me know..

Just as an ad on,its the colour that is the most important thing,the other spec is on a "nice to have" basis..

I am based in Somerset but prepared to travel for the right car..
