you cannot buy these new any more, and the only aftermarket ones are £2k each, so they're only getting rarer.
granted, I wouldn't pay £1200 for one, but I'd also expect to have to pay more for one when:
a: there's no others available
b: hardtop season is about to come into full swing

As I said guys, I'm not particularly interested in selling it unless it were to sell around that figure and as I have said it is ONO but I am not going to let it go for less than 1k because they are getting harder to come by in good nick and without needing to respray it to change the colour (for some people) and to be fair I do have the space to store it.
£750 to be honest is cheap, £900 seems to be more the middle ground. I'm not interested if you think its overpriced, if it sells it sells if it doesn't it doesn't.
I will however P/X it with a bit of cash knocked off for some Xenon headlights either the pre facelift clears (yes they do exist) or ones that have already been modified (can also provide a set in exchange), or a set of heated M-sport seats, long shot I know.

I couldn't tell you because I paid for this some alloys, brake light, lowering springs and cd multi changer off the same lot.
Look you're best off deleting this thread, it's just full of "oh that's overpriced" type comments etc and as said I'll happily keep it on the car.

Completely agree (within reason) I don't get the issue with that either, but the OP should do their homework first - asking £1200 for a hardtop on here is utterly pointless. Put it on Gumtree or eBay instead for that price as a BIN if you're not in a rush to sell it. Otherwise expect comments saying that it's overpriced. Might as well have asked for £2k as it won't get anywhere near that figure either.

The way I see it is I hate losing out on a bargain but sometimes I just can't pay the price. If someone else buys it and the decides to sell it on again at a reasonable price then that's just fine.
But at the end of the day if you don't like the price the just don't buy it.
Ok so I thought it overpriced too but at the passing of the day it may never be a problem for me so just let it stay for sale just expect the comments to be slightly sharper.

I agree with this. Difficult subject. Is one supposed to draw the conclusion that sales which are going to net the seller something extra should be done on ebay, autotrader, PH etc?
