Car withdrawn from the market until next year due to the responses I've had since advertising. I will advertise on Auto Trader next year to the wider market and at the market value it will command :)

Shame to hear your selling the z4m James. What a car! Good luck with the sale 👍
Thanks a lot  I wish I'd bought a Z4M earlier really. If this year hadn't gone the way it did, I doubt I'd be selling. I wouldn't be at all surprised if I find one in my garage in the future! :)

Sorry to see you are having to sell your M so soon, although I suppose it makes sense.

I'm about a week away from having had mine a year and I've only done just over 2,000 miles in it, but it's staying - even if it doesn't make sense!

Thanks buddy! I'm sorry as well really! A few key aspects of my life have changed quite a lot since buying this car. I surprised myself by buying it at the time, as I had just decided to sell my 3.0i E85 and buy a TT RS. The Z4M came up at a price that made sense, and it was an itch that I wanted to scratch. It's a real shame I didn't get to enjoy this summer as I was really looking forward to some big road trips in the M, but we've all been compromised this year. If I had the space and money to have two fast cars in my garage, I would definitely hold onto this. I hope you're able to up your miles and smiles counts next year :)

Thanks, more miles is definitely the plan! Still despite the low mile count it has given me plenty of smiles. :D

Not yet, but that's what will be taking the M's spot in the garage. I had a 170 bhp Mk2 TT Quattro TDI, which was a real Jack of all trades, so I'm hoping that the same car with twice the power (and other goodies) will be a real hit.

Ive been on the hunt for one the last 4 -6 weeks , rare cars indeed though i think my search is approaching the final phase 8)
Have you driven any miles in one ?

Likewise! There was a lovely grey RS Plus for sale over in Essex but they didn't return any of my communications. I haven't driven one yet, how about yourself? Are you going manual or auto? You'll have to share your purchase when your net finally closes in!

Has to be manual , has to be coupe , yes driven a good few miles in one my son had 18 months ago , they certainly don't involve you from the wheel like a ZM does but that would be their only flaw , every other department there is little out there to match them for the ££ ( in that segment ) .
Mapped they are brutally efficient machines  we had a good few drives out when i had a ZMR , the way the TTRS left the ZM standing was embarrassing at times :P

[ref]mr wilks[/ref] - Ahh yes, I remember now. We talked about this last year! It's good to hear your take on this, with your experience of both cars. They seem phenomenally competent and blew my mind when Audi first revealed them to the world. I can't wait to start trying some out. Happy hunting - leave me a good un!

Just my own thoughts but the market might move against you Re the TTRS by waiting until next spring/ summer 8)
I've been watching these cars for quite some time , I think they are at the bottom of a cycle right now ( sub 80k manual box ) & unlikely to go anywhere but up from the current market prices seen the last month or so .
Unlikely your own cars value will alter dramatically in that time so I would go with a ebay classified ad for £20/30days but start it after Boxing Day.
Your car may have 112k on but it has many plus points that should attract a knowledgeable buyer .

Not surprised you withdrew it. Car was considerably cheaper than anything else out there and looks stunning 😀

It's hard to know, isn't it? I'd hope that four months won't make a colossal difference in their pricing, but nobody can ever know :)

[ref]blunderthumbs[/ref] and [ref]M340[/ref] You're right, it is a good car, but now it's more a case of waiting for a better time of year to sell the car to the wider audience. My intention was to sell quickly and easily to a Z4 enthusiast, but my altruistic pricing appears to be unearthing suspicion rather than a buyer  I don't need to sell immediately, so the easiest thing to do is to wait for convertible weather and realise the car's full value and maximise my own budget for my next car :)
