So I took a risk that didn't pay off. I'm lowered and can't quite get away with these wheels as they are rubbing on the arches at the back. The rub is minuscule but I'm going to cut my losses and look for different wheels.

I'm confident these wheels would fit someone's zed that isn't lowered... they would probably go on someone's car that is lowered with a skinnier tyre or a bit more negative camber.

The wheels have covered a grand total of 2 miles and are fitted with Vredstein Ultrac Vorti's

Buyer takes my receipts for the wheels and tyres.

Here's what they cost me:

Wheels £630
Tyres, balancing and fitting to wheels £645
Total= 1275

Yours for £1075

Atomic centre caps included with fitted ///M badges

Front: 19" 8.5 et38 with a 225/35r19
Rear: 19" 9.5 et33 with a 265/30r19

I'm based in East Sussex, can travel within reason if it helps out.

You could fit some 255's on the rear and solve your problem.

I'd love to do that, but if it doesn't pay off I'm stuck with wheels that won't work on my car and an extra pair of tyres that I'll have just payed £300 for :headbang:

Just roll the arches .
Been to a highly regarded body shop near me and they have said that they did an e86, there was so little to be gained as the metal panel takes up so little of the arch. They said it solved their issue with liner trimming but didn't look quite right.

I don't like the idea of re shaping painted metal and despise the idea of liner trimming... its like welcoming rust with open arms.

Stunning wheels.

Best I can offer is an immaculate set of mv2 with new rubber in return :). In all seriousness though I doubt you'll have trouble finding a buyer!

The Alpina runs with those sizes on 19's, so it is possible, but maybe the offset is just a little different. (Alpina Dynamics offset is ET50 all round)

It's got to be worth trying a spacer to push them out to ET50 equivalent surely before you start again from scratch, especially if the rubbing is on the inside of wheel arch ?

I ran them on 255 rubber and they were fine. :) Keep in mind that you've got a very bad combo aka fat design tyres(vreds are known for that) and 265 while lowered. Before you get your next set create a thread for advise re fitment
