So continuing my clear out! With this if I don’t get what I want for it then I’m happy keeping it, as it’s cost me close to £500 all in (buying, importing, customs, prep & spraying).

I think these are hands down the nicest front splitters you can get for a Z!! Only ballache is you have to import it from the US! Everything else is too big and in your face or just weird! Each to their own tho!

2 piece splitter, haven’t refitted it since it’s been refurbed, so paint work and condition is excellent! The 2 piece design works very well, slide into eachother and the line in the middle where they meet is honestly barely visible on a black car!

This piece I can post but at buyers expense!

I really wanted 1 of these but couldnt justify the price when including the import etc. More than happy with my APR splitter I now have but whoever ends up buying this will be more than happy with it!

I know exactly what u mean! I regret lowering mine every time I do, then sometimes get out and look for damage and thankfully always breathe a sigh of relief, then when u step away and look at it all that regret disappears.

I use my Z as a daily and live a bit out in the sticks which is y I can’t have this splitter on all the time. Started looking into getting a run around hatch so if it doesn’t sell on here in the next week, I’ll put it on and leave it on for good!

I'd say the asking price is fair in relation to what you spent to get it here, but maybe not so much to a potential buyer now it's been replicated at a low cost in carbon fiber... Really you're looking at a niche market for someone with the knowledge and appreciation (and
the money) for an original piece.

If I had the money I'd probably buy it... If I were you, considering what you paid for it and with seemingly little need to sell it I'd probably keep it.

Yea the guy who produced these made 2 part pieces for international shipments from the US. Helps ensure it gets to you undamaged and it’s a 1/3 of the shipping cost compared to a full size splitter.

They’re made from fibre glass. I wasn’t aware of the carbon fibre copy. Where are they sold?

Yea it looks like I may very well keep it given the lack of interest. If i still have it, once I move in a few weeks then I’m happy keeping it but if someone’s interested before that then I’ll sell it.

It's a nice piece, I think yours looks better fitting than the one I have. I got it from here https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-z4e86/1946128-new?product=FRLSTE8586EDCAR, I think they sell it at MStyle too but it's more expensive there.

I followed one like yours for a while, it was just by luck this one popped up.
