No longer available - 2006 Z4 ///M Roadster

so the misses has just got home and announced she has been made redundant, I'm hungover from mixing the grape and the grain lastnight on a work do which resulted in me going to bed at 4am and I've got this dude due now to see the car, and now I don't know where my head is at..... today is not a good day :x

Seriously wondering if you're underpriced here Johnny. I know I'm opening myself up to "well you would say that wouldn't you" but look at Paul's price and what some are going for.

One a car gets "too good to be true" priced...

This is a great price, if my position was better i would be interested (long story)... would be like a brand new Zed! GLWTS it will sell for sure! Where do you have it advertised ... just the forum?... have you tried PH

All plans are on hold. The other half lost her job totally out of the blue on Friday so spending north of 50k on a car as I was planning is on hold until normality is restored. So going to hold station until then as I will be covering her bills as well for a while, but can still afford to run the m as a second car in the interim. The bloke that came and viewed on Friday offered 16k as that's what I said I wanted for it. He didn't make contact via the forum it was via work contacts, but it turned out to be pending sale of his etc. so wasn't ready to deal for a few weeks yet.

Hear what you are saying re price. Maybe I will review that especially given the offer I had Friday. I only advertised it on here, was going to ph it after a few weeks if no forum members wanted it.

I seem fated to keep this car don't i... :)

Yep, someone is trying to tell you something... Give up arguing :D Thanks for entertaining my interest John, very decently handled

I hope everything works out for you and SWMBO. Never a nice thing, but perhaps it'll work out for the better in coming weeks & months. On the plus side, their is an increased chance we'll have that beer some day 8)

Sorry to hear about your other halls job loss Jonny, hope things turn around quickly for you

That's a beautiful car you've got there, things happen for a reason

Sorry to hear about your wife's job, I hope she gets something sorted soon.

Meantime, you get to keep your beautiful car.
I con only echo both of the above sentiments

Yep. It sounds like the economic world is giving a few members a bit of a kicking at the moment. Hang in there.

To be fair - mine is a year newer and higher spec though ...

pvr - maybe, but we all know mine is the right colour....

Cheers for the support all, it sounds worse than it is, we are ok with things as we are my wage can cover all the bills, but blowing a load of cash on rebuilding my garage as a double and buying a new car needs to wait until she is working again..... :headbang:

bing, we need to have that beer in any event, just to deal with the stress we just went through in the will we/won't we land.... :). Thrilled that you've got the M, its been a long time coming, I bet you can't wait!!!

Still not done Johnny, but thanks - it was proper ace having a good look at it today after spending the morning as a passenger in srhutch's :driving:

In actual fact it was the touch up paint being included that swung it :D

I'll have to, at least for a wee while. Would need a new and more radical plan to tuck it away sooner. I think it's the only thing PVR is cringing about... And I am cringing about the inspection it will get at every meet

Doing less miles than I was though by exploiting something called 'public transportation' - a real eye opener, if a bit 1995 ...

Indeed. It has to hold it's value reasonably well for The Other Plan srhutch and I are cooking up, but that's not for now. We really should get off Johnny's thread
