No heat from vents!!!

Hi guys, I seem to a magnet for problems lately. My vent from the dash, footwell, and window blow, but there is no hot air. I have read about the possibility of coolant levels being low causing it? Is this a possibility? I've just checked and it is low, but I haven't had any warning lights and engine temp is normal.

I'm going to get some after work from halfords to top up, does this sound right? Or is there something more sinister happening which I might get stung for?

Possibly a blip in the matrix, on the way to halfords after work the heaters were working fine? I've bought coolant anyway as it does need it, so we'll see how it goes for now. Fingers crossed.

If the coolant level is low this can be a symptom. See how much fluid you have to add to bring it up to the normal level. You should be advised to keep an eye on it as you may well have a leak.

I know it probably doesn't apply here, but this is exactly what happened with mine a twice before I drove a long enough journey to realise my Waterpump was dead.

Could be any of the following:
- Blockage
- Failed Thermostat
- Failed Waterpump
- Blower Air control Flap stuck

I've just topped it up, was the best part of a litre in total. Might have put a smidge too much in hopefully it'll be ok. But just took out for a little drive, heaters warm and fully working. Will keep an eye on the levels over the next week. Just was alittle took back that I didn't get a warning on the dash, would've thought when it got that low it would've warned me?!
