It doesn't seem to matter what time of the year you go out for a blast. If it's winter you get covered in grime, salt, and other road crap. If it's spring/summer you get covered in flies.

Tell me about it, mine was like that the other day. Splattered all over the front of the bonnet and windscreen, with a few spots of bird muck chucked in for good measure :x Not too difficult to clean off though

So annoying! Salt, and rain in the winter, bugs and flies in the summer.

I think there only seems to be about 2 weeks in the UK for perfect, sunshine motoring, where you can go for a hoon and still come back with a clean car!

Try picking up some of this. Apart from leaving an amazing finish, it's like teflon for the paintwork. I've never found any other wax/sealant that keeps the paint so slick and makes removing bugs/flies so easy...
