No dashboard Idiot light.

Stupid I know, but been on hols last 2 weeks and was driving the Z in the dark for the first time. I noticed there was no green idiot light on the dash to tell me I had dip beam on. Although there was the blue idiot light to tell me I was on full beam.
Is this normal ?

Yes it's normal, this is something I noticed when I got my car at first so I checked the test lights when you first start the car and saw there was no dip beam light and I confirmed with the owners manual.

Correct. The fact that the dash is illuminated is the only clue (but then it is with just sidelights too).
