No crank

Just bought a E85 3.0SI 2006 Ran great for a week now won't crank had RAC check changed battery still no crank. RAC diagnostic check revealed 2 faults
00000E Control Module internal fault
00000F Voltage supply to EWS 3 Control Module .
All lights ignition come on just no crank.
Any ideas

EWS is the immobiliser. Sounds like it's either lost power (maybe a shared fuse) or something has gone internally.

INPA (or ISTA if you're feeling excitable) will give better diagnostics.

Did the the RAC try 12volts directly to the back of the starter? Dead starters are very common on all types of BMW.

No they just offered to tow it .

I had the same thing with mine, first thing the AA man tried was a jump pack directly to the starter. Mines an auto so couldn't try a bump-start.
