Just picked up my 09 35i which i assumed would have bluetooth for phone connectivty as original brochure said its standard as well as usb

Just found out it has neither, as per the photo when you go into menu there is no phone icon to sync with the phone Grrrr

So options guys, can you retrofit OEM and if so can someone point me in the right direct etc, otherwise loving the car.

I have the phone button on the steering wheel and on the professional radio, no phone setup in config, other reply, do you have a link to the other post?

I had the same problem, car has iDrive and a poxy ski hatch but no bluetooth!, I don't know what your budget is but this was the nearest I could find to an OEM solution: https://www.carcommunications.co.uk/bmw-bluetooth/fiscon-handsfree-oem-bluetooth-pro-bmw-37663-until-2010-model-year

I assume its for playing music if thats the case id just recommend an aux bluetooth adapter. One end plugs into the aux whilst the other plugs into a usb for power which can be done through a usb cig lighter port. Then id just buy a bluetooth remote control that allows you to connect to your phone so you can change songs. As for phone calls screw it enjoy your drive
