No Aux facility?

Just bought an ‘04 three litre Z roadster and there is an iPhone lead coming through the handbrake gaiter. I hooked up my iPhone to it but there isn’t an aux facility on the standard fit radio/CD .. I looked in the handbook and there’s no reference to an aux facility so
HELP :? How can I get to play my music through the car’s system?

It might well be hooked up instead of a CD changer. Try the different modes (CD, FM, AM etc) to see which one works. CD2 is often a good bet, depending on which unit you have fitted. You might have to turn the ignition off and then on again to get it to connect properly.

it could be a Dension or a Dice, both use the multi cd player function, but if I remember right there has to be the changer in the cd slot to work,

If it's a Dension trying tuning the FM radio between 87.7 and 88.7.
I had the same problem with mine but had to strip everything out to find what the cable was connected to!

If you have no joy, it's a fairly simple task to fit an aux in to the standard business CD. Then any bluetooth receiver works just great.

To get the business CD player to switch to detect an AUX input you have to fit a resistor and a capacitor to the connector block on the rear of the head unit. It will then cycle to AUX:

My install of the Mpow bluetooth receiver:
