Smartbear

Lifer
 a barn in Somerset
On a lighter note, I’ve just fitted a proximity detector in the Smartbear Towers garaging facility.
It needs a bit of fine tuning but early signs are promising :P

Nice one, i remember my father had a tennis ball on a string and when it touched the windscreen as he pulled in the garage, then the capri was just far enough in to close the garage doors.

Tennis ball on string - still do the same myself

Are you sure a parachuter's harness wouldn't be more comfortable for him? :D
I still have one of those tennis balls that touches the windshield when I pull into the garage for the big car. The Zed has a little red laser beam than touches the windshield squirter when I'm in the correct spot - but stuffed animals work :D

My dad had a mirror at an angle above his workbench and used this as a guide for when to stop.
He also had to have the handle for his vice sitting horizontal as if it was pointing up and down it could hit the front of the bonnet.
I got into trouble one day after I had been in his garage using the vice and forgot to tighten the vice back up with the handle horizontal, luckily he noticed it on the way in.

Smartbear, how will you judge it if the roofs up?

So you are crashing into this baby bear tied to the ceiling. using him as a marker for the car position, are you? Have you given any thought to the welfare of this poor fellow ? TBA aka Teddy Bears Anonymous will be in touch

Thats not a bear - looks like a gerbil which makes it practically vermin - perfectly suited to the job

Convinced me! - I might almost sanction it if it was a bear wearing trousers like that!
