No amplifier in boot

Hi guys and everyone else …
I have a 2015 E89 worth the 609 navigation system professional fitted (I drive and sat nav)
I want to fit an amplifier and upgrade the speakers - however I don’t have the amplifier in the boot (I did on a previous 2009 model) so I’m a bit stumped
Any advice please on location or is it just built into the professional head unit ?

I see you posted this elsewhere..

You have the 6 speaker , 4 channel basic audio system..the amp is integrated into the head unit..

You can add a variety of different speakers and amps depending on your budget and criteria for ‘satisfavtiry’ or ‘good’ audio performance..

Maybe useful to state your total budget and whether you plan to DIY?
