Nitrogen Filled Tires

yeah, seems sort of counter-intuitive if the air pressure recommendations are specified at cold, assuming a 4psi increase if they are hot from driving.....I am starting to think that the tire wear could be worse as the pressure wouldn't be as high as it normally would be (what they're designed to be) if they were just using air......

should you add a couple psi to the recommendations if you are running pure nitrogen??? waste of $$ if you ask me, but just wondering.......i would say so

Most places that service tires with Nitrogen, also have a truck with a portable Nitrogen tank available for customers that need emergency refills, low air, etc. That is probably part of a premium service though. It is intended to prolong the life of the tires by keeping them at a more constant pressure compared to air expansion and cooling, but the tire companies themselves have already taken this all into account when the tire is designed. YMMV

Cheers!

LOL, where did you find that pic.........and i'm not laughing at the poor guy who lost his z4....merely the thread in which that is posted

lol, yes! I don't have central heat. I heat totally with my wood burning fireplace and two electric heaters. Actually, I have central heat but it wreaks havoc on my sinuses so I had the propane cut off to the heater. Isn't that a neat electric heater in my room?
Why you ask, wanna come keep me warm?!
BTW, my baby's name is Belle :)

Belle - such a cute and southern name. Warms the heart.

You should come here. I will keep you warm. I have Central Air/Heat that is fine for the sinuses :D

She warms my heart , thank you for the compliment. And watch out with your invitation  . I do need to see Canada, it's so vast and beautiful, it'd be a fantastic drive...hmmm..
