Nikon D7000

I have the Nikon D90. Why not get one of those? Great camera and the D7000 isn't it's replacement as the D90 will still be on in the NIKON catalogue so they said last week.!

Breaker, how do you find the D90? Do you have any example pics you're particularly proud of? And what lenses do you have with it? Still a coin flip between the rock solid established D90 or new kit on the improved-sensor-count block, the D7000.

You have a PM.

Just bought and picked up from Jessops a D90 with 18-105mm. Did everything I wanted and was a step up from my previous Canon 350D.

Battery charging as we speak :) Will report back on results asap.

Watch out monthly photo comp that's all I can say!

The D90 is a good choice - I had a D70 from 2004 and recently upgraded to a D90.

The D90 may have less pixels than a Canon, but each individual light sensor is bigger and lets in more light,
it also means less electronic noise is created.

Cheers gents. I'm playing at the moment and I must say, compared to my previous Canon it feels a lot more capable. Going to take some test shots in Greenwich Park tomorrow so fingers crossed for another day like today here in London.
