Nightmare buying experience but glad I've got a Z4

To be honest it's years since I've had my own car and I only remembered about it when I went to transfer my private reg and realised they hadn't given me the new keepers part of the v5. I can only hope they have just sent it to the DVLA and I get it in the post soon.

Admittedly I'm biased because Eastern put two gouges in the paintwork on my front wing (and they managed to reverse a friend's 5 series into a wall - despite the parking radar), but there does seem to be quite a collection of poor reports building up about them.

I can't remember because it's a while since I've bought a car now, but I thought the trick these days was the dealer would cash in any tax left on a car they took in as a trade, then made the customer buy 6 months worth on purchase (for which they'd kindly do you a favour and get the tax disk for you).
