Spent most of the day cleaning, waxing and auto glymming the roof.

Took her out for a spin in the dark. Thank heaven for heated seats. Had a few stares from passers by no doubt judging me. Just wondered if you guys have the top down at night too.

Can't help it just love the soundtrack.

There is nothing finer!

x2 - nothing better than a top down drive on a clear crisp winter's night with the heating cranked up... Or any other type of night, of course.

Roof down at night is great. Certainly get more than a few odd looks - obviously these people haven't experienced it before :)

Though I've never desired a convertible of any kind, I've always wanted to do the whole top down, heating on full wack in the middle of winter.

Great reflection on the bonnet btw!

I also love doing this.

Mate in work thought I was a weirdo. Told me the roof should only be down on a hot summers day. Why? Because you should.

These people are idiots and clearly don't understand how to go about life in their own way.

Count me in.

Can't beat a crisp, still, star lit night, top down. pedal to the floor. :driving:

Me too. The roof only ever goes up if it's raining... and even that didn't stop me today! It was only a mild bit of spitting!

I love having the roof down at night it's great almost as good as having it down on cold winter mornings :driving:

Off topic, but I really like driving in the rain with the top down as long as it's not torrential, still a novelty staying dry. And I love laughing at people laughing at me because they think I am getting wet

Every night top down May-September this year. The past couple of days were ~ 20C at night here and I did not put it down even though I have heated seats as I was wearing just a t- shirt. I figured out that above 23C at night it is perfect (wearing a t-shirt) without any heat blowing or heated seats. Of course if you dress heavily and put the heater and heated seats on you can drive it even with lower temperatures although I am not a big fun (maybe because we have plenty of hot nights here). Whenever I saw a guy in the UK driving with the top down even with 5-10C I was amazed I have to admit! Respect

New to the z4, but with my S2000 in the past it was top down all year/day. Had an S in Canada too and was stopped by the Mounties for speeding in the middle of nowhere and let off... as I was a crazy English guy in -7*C with snow flakes starting to fall in the cabin.

Can't see me being any different in the Z :-D

Heated seats on when it's 20 degrees :o

Sub-zero top down rocks

Driving at night with the top down is wonderful.

I always have the roof down unless it's throwing it down with rain - and - all year round.

Most amazing run was in the snow with snowflakes billowing around the cab - memorable!

:driving:

I am used to different temperatures and i get sick easily :P May-September is 25-33 C at night here so you get the idea. I put heated on seats only at night below 20C, during the day the sun does the job

Respect for subzero top down , i imagine you cant feel your nose, hands etc at those circumstances

I haven't driven my car in 5 months... missed all th roof down action this summer and will no doubt miss the last remaining daylight outside working hours so this will have to be my option!

I'm going to be stubborn and drive everywhere with the roof down, rain or shine... Now if I only didn't get rid of those heated seats.... :|

I went out tonite to tescos with the roof down! Was a great drive nothing like it, love seeing the sky while driving, saw an awesome sunset and had heated seats on with the blowers going full wack cause I'm a wimp in the cold haha

Oh and I love over taking three cars and looking and seeing I'm suddenly over 100mph... ;) (sorry I mean 70mph :p)

Anyone know what the vents behind the seats near the sub's are for???
