Night time roof down

Last night, jack frost had struck and it was around 0 - -2. I heard a lot on these forums about people driving at night with the roof down so I thought id give it a try.

My entire fabric roof was frosted over and there was surely a very cold nip in the air.
Roof went down, windows went down, music went up.
Hat, scarf, gloves and a jumper went on. Heated seats and heated footwell went on max.

WOW !

Give it a try !!! Loved it.

Got home and roof was still frosted :rofl:

Nothing better than an early morning, winters day run with the roof off and the exhaust crackling away. 8)
 
It's what stops me SORNing the car over the winter. The thought of missing out on a drive on a cold clear night with the top down is just too much to bear!
 
If it's not raining or snowing, the roof is down! Coldness is just a mindset.
Also, a very silly ski hat in the glovebox goes down a treat :thumbsup:

I was considering a full on storm trooper helmet, as seen here, but after looking at one, the price and the lack of visibility put me off :/

especially as their greatest hits never leaves my cd changer....
 
Have to be careful in the Z3 as nearest whiff of cold and the rear screen will crack :cry: but have had the hood down at night and its great but not in town for obvious reasons.
