Just switched over from RFTs to Vred Ultrac Vortis all round 255/18/35's and 225/18/40's. (OEM)
Gobsmacked at the difference, the improvement all round is fantastic. it's truly like a different car. Much more comfortable, no steering snatch, no tramlining or unpredictability. I've yet to give it a good chuck around yet due to the weather but on initial impressions I am sure the handling will be a lot better.
I would never have thought there would be so much improvement just by changing the tyres over. Just need to get it Hunter hawkeyed and that'll be it sorted.
I'm using the same pressures as on the door pillar, 2.0 bar fronts, 2.2 bar rears, let me know if anyone thinks it should be different now that I am running non RFTs.
Thanks to everyones' input on the forum, which convinced me I should raid the piggy bank for the £500 inc required, money well spent!
