Yeah watched it all & only confirmed that the benefits boil created by labour needs a swift & severe lancing :x
moaning,whining ,juvenile idle tw4t$ !
More wine required now to reduce blood pressure

When working people have a lower standard of living than people who claim benefit. It's broken. Needs fixed.

Problem is that the scroungers become accustomed to their high standard of living whilst claiming from tax payers. They don't want a pay cut. They're entitled to their benefits.

I've said too much. I'll shut up now

As i see it the labour benefits system created a viable alternative to work as opposed to the "financial assistance when in need" that welfare was intended for .
Its totally & utterly wrong & when it get's sorted let's hope they move on to the biggest taxpayer rip off bar none :(
"Pensions for the public sector" :o THE biggest scandal to UK workers/taxpayers ever !
Why not create a system whereby whatever line of work ( whether employed or self employed ) you take a % per month from your own income to fund your own retirement ?
WTF should non public sector workers fund the retirement of others whilst at the same time struggling to fund their own ?
its a banana republic system in a supposedly fair country yet no-one ever complain's
& that is my midweek rant over
Here's to the weekend

Dare I say it? I work in the pensions industry, private pension of course - product development and all that jazz, the state of public sector pensions.... don't get me started :fuelfire:

Looking forward to the weekend tho, good weather for a roadster owner :)

The politicians have got their grubby snouts in the trough as well! :x
A broken society? You bet it is!

Is it their fault they are eejits, they are not 'normal' ?, in the sense of working 9 to 5. peeps with deviant behaviour, on the whole have a positive effect on society, they make us feel better about ourselves (durkiem) and they are easy targets for blame with the current problems in the country. more-so now that they have been demonised by those in authority. I feel that the traits of empathy ,compasion and altruism are what makes us human and these people need looked after. Its either that or a bit of genocide or say, lets start of with eugenics . If anyone has the solution im sure Mr Cameron would be interested.

They are a victim of circumstance agreed but for some the circumstance has become acceptable because they can function just like hard working folks yet without the need to physical tax themselves
The welfare system was designed to assist those in need of financial assistance when they most needed it , , it certainly wasn't intended to be a viable alternative to hard graft, commuting & years of commitment to build a business :x
Unfortunately there will always be winners & losers in any society it just seems under the last government the winners did little while the losers did a lot

From our perspective their behaviour is unacceptable, however there is very little than can be done to solve this issue, a living wage may be the answer ,a wage that does not depend upon benefits like tax credits to top it up. I feel the state should not be subsidizing employers that pay wages below subsistence levels.

Winners and losers ? a complex subject ! im assuming we are talking in financial terms here . Have winners got alot of money and the losers none ?

We all work hard , from people on minimum wage to those of the rentier class, should there such a disparity in earnings ?

Im bailing from the debate Gerry as its heading beyond my intellect & knowledge (doesn,t take much haha)
i can't agree with dentists, postmen, taxi drivers & window cleaners all getting the same hourly rate though if that's what you are suggesting 8)

Benefits should provide the necessities. A roof over your head, adequate heat and food. That's it IMO. A 42" plasma is not needed. A mobile phone is not required etc etc.
It really should be simple to get 75%+ of the benefits class back into some form of 'work' be it washing the dirty road signs across the country, cutting grass verges and tidying the litter up..the list is endless. All stuff that would make Britain a bit closer to Great again. As it is, we have generations on spongers who have known no different and expect a handout, often smokers and often with sufficient cash to visit the pub.
