Nicest wheels on the z4 roadster?

I personally don't like my wheels, they 16" and they look a bit 'standard'. I like Starscream's M ones and I really like the CSL ones too. My husband has some 18" BMW MV spokes (I think thats what they're called) and he wants to change them so I might end up having them instead!

While I personally love the 108's, I could not get them. I finally went with these.

Hi fellow bimmers, I'm new here and this is my first post..

Regarding this topic, I'm considering of lowering my ride a bit (0.6 inches) and change rims and tyres from 17'' star spoke 200 with run flats, to 18' with either M double spoke 193 or star spoke 241 painted black. Of course, whatever my final choice I'll wear them convetional tyres, for much better ride and handling.. :)

Anyway, my Z4R is black (in fact, carbon black) and I was just thinking if star spoke 241 painted black would be too extreme on my Z, although IMO they look great on that coupe:

So, what do you guys think? :?

Welcome Blanco!

Brother, those rims are smokin' hot!

I'd do it myself but I have reservations on whether they (black carbon fiber) would look good on a Monaco blue. Black, Grey/silver titanum, and red - yes... but for some reason, I'm not sure if dark blue will work with those rims.

BUT THEY'RE FANTASTIC!!

The 108's are my personal favorite too. In fact, when I bought my ’06 zed, I specifically went for the 3.0si with the sport package just because it came with the 108’s. I am a bit worried about corrosion. As my zed gets used as an (almost) daily driver, I have picked up a number of small stone chips on the rims. I am certain that it is just a matter of time before corrosion sets in, but after nearly 2 years and over 24,000 miles they are still looking clean.

How about the asanti af114's...they're a steal at $1 million U.S. Yes...that is the correct number. If you've got extra cash around, you can get the AFS 103...at $2 million for the set.

My favorite.... BBS RX - Classic Line 14, One-Piece Cast Aluminum Alloy Wheels, Bright Silver w/ BBS 3D
Silver/ Black Center Caps and Aluminum Valve Stem Sleeves :D

That's also what I'm worried about, as my carbon black looks kind of dark blue under sunlight..

I like most of the wheels posted so far with the exception of the Alpina amd M6 reps. I'm looking to get new wheels (either 18" or 19") and I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. I prefer the standard 5 stars and this is on top of my list. They are Moda MD1 18x8 1 piece low pressure cast constructed. The 18" runs $199 each and the 19" runs $214 each. What do you think?
