There's a few Z4MCs in the 'Z4 Coupe' section of Pistonheads, rather than in the 'Z4M Coupe' section... If I was looking for one I'd have missed these... :?

I mentioned this one on the M market watch thread the other day. It was on autotrader last month with some really poor quality photos.
If you're looking to buy you need to look in ALL Z4 sections...there's always cars being listed in the wrong places.

If that's what a 54k example can fetch without CSLs or Aeros, I may have to reconsider my sale price later this year.

Seems £19k for mine with 51,000 on the clock would seem about right...?

I'd add £1k to whatever price you're thinking of if you're leaving OEM CSLs on but a white one always seems to be about £2k higher than any other colour...

Without any justification too. They aren't the rarest or the most sought after colour either. I think this car is too expensive in the current market but it's shifting upwards so maybe they are right and I'm wrong. All I can say is, that if I was selling mine right now (which I'm not) I would list it for less than that and it's got 11k less miles, more kit and a rarer colour and interior combination too.

I think your advertising price should reflect if you want to sell it. Advertising high based on one other car being high probably won't end up in you getting a sale quickly or at all, but if that's not important then so be it.

I am sure this was for sale last month on autotrader priced a bit higher

..... suggesting that people are not selling when they get carried away with their valuations?

You can order any colour you want when new, the fact that a colour/combo is rare just means it wasn't popular at the time. White was for vans and old people, then cool because Audi promoted it so became popular as a no-cost recession colour, now every other car is white and I'm probably not alone in not wanting a white car.

I'd say around 1-2 years ago (or even 4 when I bought mine) white was THE colour to have on any performance car, and since then those cars have carried a premium over just about every other colour. 4-5 years back so many people were wrapping their E46 M3s white... Z4MCs look great in white but I think they really need CSLs too.

The white thing probably wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for the cops switching to silver cars however many years back - which they did because residuals of white 'normal' cars was worse than almost all other colours. It's just a fashion thing that probably peaked a year or so ago. I'd still say a white Z4MC is worth more than any other colour on a like-for-like basis, and Sepang bronze isn't for me...

White is my fav colour on a MC. They have also missed a lot of spec from their advert as it has TV and DSP which is not listed, so who knows what else they have missed off.

Noticed that too

I'd have jumped at a white one when looking for mine but I knew it might've taken 6-12 months of looking and it might've been over my budget too...

I would not pay that for it, lots of previous owners, photos in shade and a front seat that looks poor, if it did not sell for a higher price recently I would hardly pay more for it! My previous one with high mileage had better interiors than most that claimed low mileage, I never treated the seats which kept the leather looking great & natural, a lot have had some crappy polishes on to try to make them look better, they only make them look like they are worn and require polishing.

There has only been one this year that I would of purchased, a blue one with 30,000 miles and 1 owner at £16250, it was 2006, even a 2007 one owner 27,000 miles one at £17,500 did not look well kept. I made a mistake not buying the former, however there will be other opportunities, I am in no rush.
