Great to get out in the Z4 with roof down and the sun shining driving along Southend sea front.Been braving the cold weather over the past few weeks with the roof down but now it is the right weather for putting the roof away.Hope many of you have had the same pleasing experience today.Makes it all worth while owning a sports car.

Yeah, managed short drive yesterday morning. I have mine down at the slightest hint of sunshine.

First proper day for lid-off motoring for me in the Z4 - collected it on 21 February and it's p*ss*d down since.
Heated seats and wind deflector helped nicely. Can't wait for Spring proper and Summer!

Was cursing the intermittent rain all day today, as I had a railing to paint.We drove from Calella to Barcelona down most of the Costa Brava ... top up, then down then up again ...very hot when the sun was shining and now a delicate shade of lobster ... memsahib left the camera in the hotel ... will try harder tomorrow! ... 8)

We lived in Spain form 2004 to 2007 ,Costa Calida, is that a red Z4 you have there,mine is in bright red ,have not managed to get the photos done yet.Kingfisher said:

Just back from Florida where it was about 80f. Few Z4s. Even fewer with hood down!
