Nice small film clip

You lost me there James. Alas I don't have the stereo on at the moment, so no sound on my PC & no idea what that was about. :?

Not my kind of clip when the car doesn't move!

Try this one for a proper video then Rick :P
An old favourite of mine...

From non-moving cars to invisible links to something promised to be more exciting :headbang:

I may have to go to the cinema!!

Thanks Ed - I enjoyed that one. Was sitting here doing some tentative planning to go to this year's Le Mans - that video has taken me a lot closer to pulling the trigger on it. :)

See you tomorrow! Rick

That's the article: extract below -

...his route to Le Mans that year and gave a real sense of what that week was like for him and the Nissan team and when everything seemed to be going wrong.

The Blundell takes us through his qualifying run which ended up with him putting the car on pole by 6 seconds. The wastegate was jammed closed and overboosting, the team told Blundell to to pit and not bother with the lap, Blundell disagreed.

Blundell says because of the running problems, he had no idea how much powert the car actually had until he came on to the pit straight to start his qualifying lap. He had no idea of his braking points because he had never travelled that fast down the straights, 238mph between the chicanes on the Mulsanne!!

My favourite part? “Every input was pure relfex – things were coming at me everyehre I looked. For about 50 percent of the lap I felt like I was on the verge of a massive accident.”

What a complete legend.

Anyways apologies for the thread hijack - felt it was worth a share :P

Rick I'm ridiculously jealous of the Le Mans trip - are you going in the M?

Well I liked the original clip - very nice production. (Does leave you wanting to hear and see it being driven though - I'm sure that's the intention! )

Gave a very different feel for me towards the E89  Very impressed
