This looks like a nice buy for someone, from the same garage I bought my Zed. Love the interior.

Just sent the link to my dad, my brother and mates .. all in Preston. Looks great! I wonder if it will tempt any of them

1 owner, low miles, 13 service stamps, appreciating asset, excellent price - I'm surprised they're not lining up

Shame about the wheels and aftermarket lights though.

Must be the only 2001 car with traction control!

Did you see the wheeler dealers episode with the s2000. It was very good but SPOILER ALERT if you haven't seen it yet.....

He bought it back for £7000 then sold it on ebay for £8100.

I don't know my s2000's well enough to spot the aftermarket wheels & lights - looks good though IMO

My thoughts exactly Paul. Its a lovely looking car, however, the one styling issue I have with the s2000's is that when the soft top is down it doesn't sit flush like the Zed - it protrudes in a messy concertina fashion

Hmm, well I think I could live with the looks - quite like the simple lines.
Took one out on a test ride before buying our first Zed and thought I would love it (coming from motorcycles the high revving engine appealed) Unfortunately I found the engine very different to a bike engine - not as free revving and felt very forced at high revs. To be fair someone had been messing with the one I took out - sports exhaust, inlet mod and lowered. Maybe I should have tried a standard version.

Looks just like my old one!

I do miss it... Dont miss the creaky roof or lack of TC in the wet but was a lot of fun.

Early model so reputedly snappier due to the geometry, and those alloys do scream boy racer a little to me.... Personally I'd be hanging on for a late facelift GT with hardtop.....

My brother had this same colour combo and year, got it super cheap, brakes seized and cost a bomb to fix tho, early models have no traction control which made corners fun.

The silly lights could be removed in five minutes and the wheels aren't too offensive, but the interior's a little down at heel and I don't like the line of the bootlid without the OEM spoiler. It has the terrible plastic rear screen too, suggesting the hood is original and therefore is likely to have holes at the shoulders.
Mine's in better condition, is newer (so has a glass rear screen) and is a GT with a hardtop, so I hope I'll be able to get that much when I sell it in the spring. That said, mine has covered rather more miles which puts people off..... The good ones are definitely increasing in value though.
