Through my own fault of doing lots of short hops recently and not giving the engine a good hard run, i noticed the infamous sign of a blocked breather, blue smoke on start up!! just once in a while, took the oil filler cap off and as i expected, yellow gunk, anyway, I asked BMW to have a look,,,
Yes sir, you will need new breathers, cyclone valve engine flush etc £580 plus VAT !!!!!!!!!
A friend recommended me to a BMW indy in MAidstone called H & C Motors,,
Well sir, what we try first is to flush through the breathers and the valve and clean them all out first, that usually works, changing everything is a last resort,
So thats what they did, worked a treat,, £60 plus VAT
Chatting to them, they also do all the programming, and they have all the latest software to do it, they can also re map the engine.
Anyway, really helpfull, knowledgable and a big thumbs up from me
