nice dy for a blast

I've done 200+ miles today with the roof down but didn't venture more than about 15 miles from home. Saw loads of convertibles out and about but only one with the roof down, an MX5, we gave each other the thumbs up and a big smile
Averaged 18.5 mpg, the sound of the engine is so addictive with the roof down.

How'd you manage that then ? Did you just drive in big circles, or do you own a race track :? :D

Went for a mini drive today after going to Homebase. Went up the A road then turned off and drove back along some country lanes. Not very far, but just had the urge!

Just cruising around all the local towns and villages and getting to grips with the car. Everything from motorway to back roads. First time the roads have been properly dry since I got it. I'm still shocked at how quick it is. 100-150 in just a few seconds and still not too drafty with the roof down.

Giving speed examples whilst doing 30-70 is ok, I wouldn't advise on admitting any faster....

I actually got stopped by the Rozzers today for number plate
You can say what you like on forums about speed, no evidence, people are known to lie on forums etc etc. However posting videos on YouTube and the like can be used as evidence if it shows speed or dangerous driving on public roads.

Went out for a better hoon today! Roof down, old roads with lots of twisty bits. Excellent fun!

its been that nice i thought i'd give mine a wash, first time this year, in fact its the first time since i can recall :|

Alas I haven't had my brakes done yet so couldn't enjoy the Z today. :( Booked in for Wed, for front discs and pads and rear pads. Expect it will be snowing next weekend. That i'll teach me to leave it till the next Visa Bill.

Gave her a good clean Yesterday any way. :)
