I could intermittently keep updating the first post. Ok so everyone when posting list by the pub name the county and region it's in :thumbsup:
 
There's a lovely pub in the usk valley near newport called The Wheatsheaf. Village is called Llanhenock. It is idyllic. I kinda like it.

Totally agree with Ruby re The Saxon Mill, Warwick, used to be my local for 40 years until I moved to Devon :thumbsup:

The Old Inn, Widecombe in the Moor, right in the middle of Dartmoor National Park fabulous views.

The Dartbridge Inn, Buckfastliegh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park

The Fishermans Cot, Bickliegh, Tiverton.
