They look fantastic! I think that's pretty much made my mind up with them. Purchasing next week 8)

Where are you purchasing them from? Let me know how much they charge as I may be able to do you a better deal.

Wheelbase are doing them for £539 with free delivery and fitting kit. That's the cheapest I could find them for

Good job I'm not trying to sell them to you...
If it's ever a fast car that I need, I'll just use one of work's vehicles.

I'll make a call on Monday/Tuesday. Should be able to beat that price, but it may only be by £5.00

And so will i.........very soon

As with most of your posts there's an awful lot of bark, and no bite.... Now run along and comment when you've actually driven your car for a change... Xx

 sorry johnny but you've been ruined here. Those are some impressive cars!

I think i'm going to order the alloys on Monday, so it's no bother if you can't get them cheaper. Thanks anyway though  hope mine looks half as good as your coupe!

LOL, funny, but; Guys please don't turn my build thread into another J-E s**t slinging match.

I do like those wheels really do suit the coupe...

I actually saw the Scirocco when i was up at Awesome in a couple of months back with my TT - got the 3" downpipe from you lot!

Was it the Scorpion one you went for? If so I may remember it! Although I'd have been hidden away upstairs moaning about how useless my works computer is lol.

A good evening's work! :)

After doing a little research into something for the bottom of my front bumper to neaten it up and finish it off a little, I found the guys on ClioSport talking about a Mk2 Fabia Front lower Spoiler.
These rubbery plastic lower spoilers clip in on the Fabia, but have enough room to drive a screw through to hold them to almost any bumper.

I liked the look, and with the price point of less than £15.00, I decided to give it a try!

I must admit, I'm sold! Looks great on the car and didn't cost much at all!

Part number if anyone's interested is: 5J0 807 061 9B9 - Retails at around £12.00 + VAT
I used some relatively fine thread screws with plastic washers to hold it in place so that it comes away easily without damage if it does ever get caught on anything.

Next up was fitting the Tarox Drilled Discs and Fast Road Pads all round:

As you can see, the old discs were looking a little tired:

Discs removed, Hubs stripped and cleaned:

New disc on looking so much better already!

Rear Discs and Pads all fitted:

Front Discs and Pads all fitted:

I'm afraid that's likely to be it for a while now apart from a routine brake fluid change in a weeks time.
Back to concentrating on the house for a bit and saving up for a nice new watch :)

Love those brakes! Bet they were a few bob. Cars coming along nicely. Front splitter is cool and doesn't look aftermarket, which is good. Wheels also look great.

Thanks Ben :) Not sure what more I can do to it now really. I'd love to do Aero Skirts and an 'M' bonnet but I'm a little scared of having bodywork done due to some horrific results I've seen in the past :( Stage 1 software will be done at some point I think. I'll probably speak to the guys over at Ecotune as they really are at the top of the game when it comes to BMW mapping.

Every time I see the splitter now, I love it even more! It just looks as if it's meant to be there which is exactly what I'd intended!

Huge garage envy! Would love to have somewhere like that to work! New discs look great, and front splitter really suits it!

Thanks Chris, It really is such a bonus working in that place and having an Owner and Director who are happy for us to do our own stuff there out of hours! A real perk of the job!

Since I didn't really put any decent pics up of the car with the new wheels on, here's a couple more until I get a chance to get out in some good weather with the DSLR :)

Sorry for the car being so mucky and the wheels being so covered in brake dust at this point...

Your signature is making me wish I didn't have a paint phobia... Really really want aero skirts, really really don't want paint problems :(

Very nice thread and car mr :)
Why do you have pre-facelift headlamp on a facelift car? Have you changed them?

Thanks man!
Um, I'm not too sure. To be fair, I thought all 3.0si models came with these headlamps unless they were spec'd up with the Bi-Xenons?
I could be wrong though.

I like em' anyway :)

Edit:
Aren't these the pre-facelift lamps?

That is also a pre face with amber indicators. It was possible to get white indicators from 2004 on pre face.

This is the facelift headlamp, you can see the difference! And the facelift has the inner halo ring :)
