Next gen SLK

Hmmm, is it not true that the SLK does well on residuals, i.e it holds its value quiet well, and in fact better than the Z4? I'm with Wondermike on this one and will be keeping an eye on it. :)

It looks horrific.
Wait and see when the real thing is shown, the Z4 was a bit hit and miss whilstever the camouflage was still on, but when it came of it was a cracker :D

There are certainly less management cars put on the used market which helps. I remember how I paid £2k under list for a 3 month old demo, at the time you could get £12k off a similar Z4M. Don't think we'll see the waiting lists back for any car for the forseeable future.

I'm not liking the front at all is has a big clown nose  , the previous SLK 55 AMG had it right.

Adam D, I agree about the AMG, love that car :sweetheart:

The one with the C63 engine in will be the interesting one.........especially if they can work out how to make it handle nicely this time. However there won't be much change out of £60k which makes the TTRS and 35iS Zed look v good value.

:poke: auto is the way forward, unless like Sixspeed you do a lot of track time.

I've loved having mine, kept it longer that any car previously, this will be three years in June :sweetheart: Going to see what the final pics are like of this one.

Mike, You are already smitten and I don't blame you. The 3 year itch is upon you, just make sure and post pics. :D

Wish they'd stop making them with automatic-only gearboxes - then I might take more interest!

Once you have had a DCT box for a while you would not want to go back :driving:

Hmm I'd still like a 35is but can't afford it. 370Z is top of the list currently. Will wait and see what this looks like as a final design.

I would quite like to be a sheep and say the SLK is just not a drivers car and its a housewife to the mall kind of car , BUT i've never driven one. And so in that respect i'll reserve judgement. Looks quite nice though....... but not very dangerous if you know what i mean :D

Anyone here owned an SLK? Cant say i've read any posts about them :?

I would still go back to manual faster than that box can shift, even if it does shift faster than I do
