The next Newlands Corner meet is to be held on Sunday 14th January 2018 from 9AM.

(Sat Nav - Albury, Guildford, GU4 8SE)


*NOTE* Due to December being a busy month for us all on the run up to Christmas, I’ve ommited the meet for December.


Looking forward to catching up with all of those that previously attended, and welcoming any new faces that would like to come along.

(There are two cafes at Newlands, one of which is across the road from the Carpark. On occasion we can be found in there, so if you see the cars but not us friendly bunch, we could be hiding in there :D)

Is anyone around for 10 December? I'd be up for it if anyone else is.

I'm used to attending car meets; I've been in various MX5 clubs since '98 and also go to PH meets when I can so I'm very experienced in that awkward first time meeting when you aren't sure who is who, what subjects are encouraged and which are taboo and which group of people standing around in a car park are the car club and which are the doggers (yes I've been to meets & drives that started at Ockham Common :-o )

Newlands corner car park is also a known Dogger spot
...don't ask how I know :cry: :rofl:
 
I should feel at home then. Just don’t arrive early or stay late and sit in the car waiting unless you really want to have to clean the windows & doors again :o

Newlands Corner has it all, no wonder they want to start charging for the car park :D
 
I'm going to try to make it to this - the Z4 hasn't moved in about a month so it's high time I took it out on a run and it would be good to meet some of you guys.

I’ve just seen this mentioned in another thread.
Will keep an eye open for the next one. New lands is only 40 mins from me
