Newlands corner meet - 15th January 2017

Fantastic response, must have been a good 20 Zeds so best turnout yet at Newlands. Weather was awful rained most of the time so for me a good opportunity to find out whether water is still getting in under the passenger carpet.
Any Photos??

Cracking morning guys, pleasure to meet you all! Perfect way to chase away the January blues by chatting bobbins about cars for a few hours with like minded folk :)

Hope you all made it home safe, and look forward to the next on :) hopefully the weather will be kind enough to let us go for a drive after the obligatory breakfast bacon roll too!

I think that the official count was 15, but a great turnout nonetheless given how poor the weather was. Not the greatest ever pics, but here's a couple:

Thanks for posting your pics Rick. It was good to see you again.

I am surprised I was the only E89 there today.

It was good to see so many Z4s despite the weather, and to meet the dedicated owners!

A few more photos (this is Z4 Forum after all).

Sorry about the quality but I'll blame the rain! Either that or my camera didn't like that Orange plastic interloper. :x

A few from me.

A big thanks to all of those who yet again braved the bad weather and made it down. A pleasure to see the regulars and meet some new faces. Some very nice examples emerging

Looks like a great turnout. Sorry i couldn't make it. I notice that we've parked in the lotus boys area. Bet they won't be pleased. That's probably why the orange one is there. He's protesting.

I don't think so - he probably couldn't see out of the steamed-up windows!

Most of the Lots of Trouble guys were nearer the café so they had somewhere dry to stay while waiting for the AA/RAC.

Wasn't aware of this meet will try and make February one 18 ?

The next meet will be Sunday 19th February.

Sorry to say I'll be missing the February meet. Mrs R owns a very small share in a racehorse (les than an ear I would guess!) and we're going down to Somerset to see it in training and decided to make a weekend of it.

Some great photos considering how awful the weather was :D

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. Hopefully I'll be able to make next months meet too

Ha.. didn't realise you boys were going to be there.. I was there in my lotus with the lotus club munching on a jolly nice bacon roll.. NOT WAITING FOR RAC :P :x :D :P .. hahaha..

Good to know I have a choice of soft top car to bring along next meet.. do I go Lotus or Z4.. #firstworldproblems

also.. wanted to add.. if anyone arrives VIA A264 Leatherhead / East Horsley or Via A25 Wotton village just outside Dorking the lovely Law enforcement peeps like to hide with their hair dryers occasionally, normally on the return journey, in the summer you also get lots of MAMIL's
(middle aged men in lycra ) riding back home.

Either way I'll come over an introduce myself next time, unless in the Z4 then I'll park up with you guys :)

Looks like a great turnout, folks despite the weather.
Some lovely looking cars, including the shiny lotus
Can't wait for the meets to start, and weather improve for roof down motoring :D :driving:
