NEWCASTLE: 'Hoon' 26th April HAWICK LOOP

Tyler and Toe-side - you've not picked up your pm - it has my mobile number on it if needed.

Been looking at the weather and we may tweak the route a little in response (still the basic route as outlined on the Original Post page 1). At the moment the weather looks unsettled so we will make final decisions on the Sunday morning.

One change is that our first coffee stop will now be at Tower Knowe (Kielder Water). Please note it will cost £2 but is a safe car park in a beautiful location and has excellent toilets and café.

Looking forward to meeting you all on Sunday Morning

Paul and Steph.

:driving:

Weather nice here and looking mainly dry tomorrow !

Bright now in Berwick drying fast but a bit 'Alan Ladd' .....................Geordie rhyming slang for 'cad' .....cold chilly brrr!

Car's cleaned, route sheets printed and ready - just checked the forecast - dry morning, some showers possible in the afternoon.

Hoping for the best - see you in the morning.

Paul and Steph

(Please send a message if you are not going to make it)

I would just like to thank Paul and Steph for yet another well organised fun day out along some great roads, :driving: even the weather was kind to us

It was great to meet up again and see everyone new and old alike as this was out first forum trip of the year :D Also great to see Jax and his new Porsche, I've got to say Jax that the sound produced by your exhaust when I was following you was lovely mate :D

Didn't take many pics today, but I know others did so hope they will post theirs later

Start of the day at Newcastle

Thanks every one for a great day out. My oldest was impressed with the spirited driving of us 'old boys' :oldman:

Special thank you to Paul and Steph....... organisational maestro's

Just like to say a big thank you to Paul And Stephanie for organising a great day out . It was also nice to meet such a friendly group of people . I will hopefully have some action pics to post when David Bailey (trish) sorts out her camera. Thanks to you all for letting a golf driver join your Hoon.

Hi All,

Looks like a fab day out, gutted I missed it. I'm from the north east but don't pick up my new Z4 until Friday. Beyond excited!!! :-D

Hopefully I'll get along to the next one.

Just relaxing and watching Arnie on the TV

The dog sitter has been taken home and the Zed has it's half cover on after another Forum hoon . . . .

What an unexpectedly brilliant day - unexpected brilliant sunshine most of the time when the forecast was very unsettled AND the traffic gods were with us!

We had a wonderfully clear run through most of each of the sections and when it's like that, I can't do these roads justice in words - just come drive them on a day like we've had today - what it's all about. Thanks to everyone that joined us - well worth all the preparation and planning.

I'll post some photos and an account tomorrow - too tired and relaxed tonight. :D

:driving:

A great day today - thanks again to Paul & Steph for organising, reccy missions etc. Some of those roads were fabulous - especially the single track to Newcastleton ( and back !). Nice coffee & lunch stops too. Another great bunch of folk welcoming those of us who didn't bring a zed but instead brought a splash of much needed colour to the not quite 50 shades of grey ! Will try and post some pics tomorrow - sadly our videos didn't work - not sure why - been having some problems with the camera - it might get dumped & replaced soon !
