Hi all.
First post.
Just about to pull the trigger on a Z4m and have it narrowed down to two cars both coupe.
Anything in particular to watch for?
Both cars have roughly 55000 miles.
Have had a long M history having previously owned an E46 CSL, an M5 and a stock E46M3

Welcome aboard

Can't help as never M'd, but there'll be an expert along soon. Worth having a browse through the M specific forum here:

Have fun - nice problem to have searching for a M coupe :D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I only moved to the "M" side of things last December, but with your car history you probably know much more about M ownership than me.

So you'll know all about the 1,000 mile 1st service, Inspection 1 and 2, etc.

Now all we need are photos of the one you bought!

Welcome to the forum. :)

Well as you will know the engine and breaks already. Err no there is nothing new there. I think the coupe has a few spots to check on the rust proofing, but I"ll leave it to a coupe owner to confirm where.

Handy reminder there from buzy.

Coupes have been known to suffer from corroded boot lids, which is worth considering now that most of them will be outside the 12 year rust warranty. With the tailgate open check all around the edges, but I think it usually tends to be near the bottom corners.

And all Z4s are prone to suffering from corroded rear brake pipes - there is a bit more detail here:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=121037
