Hi Guys, I have some money that I am thinking of blowing on a Z4!
I found one that I was going to look at ( a 3.0i with just about every thing and nice turbine alloys !)
however I have just been told it has been sold, so I guess I will keep looking !

Onto my question.. the badge seemed to be missing the 'i' character , it just said 3.0 is this 'normal' or has someone removed it ?

Did you ever drive it? Because if you did, you're doomed to buy one. That's what happened to me. I was looking for an economical putter and while waiting to see if one was available at another dealership, saw the Z just sitting there, calling my name. I asked if I could drive it to keep me occupied while I waited (I'm a little impatient  ). Drove away with it an hour later!
Don't know about the missing 'i' in the one you were considering. Maybe someone did remove it, who knows. It's sold anyway so better keep looking. Good luck!

srpsrp, welcome to the forum...
Sounds like the "i" was removed as to the best of my knowledge all Z4's had an "i" in the model designation except for the "M".

srpsrp, there's no going back now... you won't be able to resist. Welcome to the dark side.

In this case, the dark side is good. 8)

srpsrp, plenty more cars out there for you

In the UK anyway, we got the "i" on the badge, you can make it out on mine

Simon,

Where part of our currently cold damp island are you from?

What year and model are you after? I went through the whole look / buy process earlier this year and may be able to offer some tips and don't worry if you miss one, as Mike said plenty more out there.

thanks for the friendly replies guys,
If I do go for it, I am going to wait for the right one to come up I think, getting the right spec is important to me.

I am in the Sunny south of the UK. Stuck at work today but have bought my Z4 Haynes manual to gen up :-)

The book of lies half truths and distortions.....

You do the right thing to stick out for your desired spec. and don't compromise. A glance on Ebay will show just how many are around at this time of year

You've picked the right car, and you've found the best forum! Glad to have you here. Welcome. and can't wait to hear about what you find and see some pics!
