Hello.

This is my new beast.........3.0SE Red leather, heated seats, upgraded stereo, wind deflector and fancy airfreshner ! :thumbsup:

Noticed you have your 3.0 badge on the near side mine was on the off side i know they only put them on one side thought it was always the off side

That made me check - I have them on both sides
 
Wierd about the badges, i thought they where on both sides ?........i mean to keep calling the local dealership to get another one, i thought one had been nicked, either that or the last owner wanted a memento when he sold the car on ? had a look on ebay for one but cant find any.
 
Removed mine prefer the cleaner look shame it fell apart when i did i would have posted it to you
 
Mine only had one, because it had a new wing fitted at some point before I got it, so maybe yours is the same?

Mines badged both sides, i thought they all were.

I think the silver, although a dull colour on most cars looks brilliant on the z4 because of all those lines showing through. And with the seats.. :thumbsup:
 
Great car, great colour, great wheels ... just like mine ... but I've got 3.0i badges on both sides!
Do your wheels show any signs of corrosion? Mine have some wierd white lines in the lacquer and large areas of white on the inside of the alloy.
When I bought it the dealer said that it wasn't enough to get them replaced ... but they really shouldn't be that bad, the car has only done 18K and is pretty well in mint condition otherwise ... :?

Had the same white residue on the insides looked like chewing gum it is corrosion but i to was told no for new rims by the stealers they did a refurb look better but not good the bloke must have been wearing spurs the classic clearcoat over brake dust :censored: going to get them fully refurbed in the spring.

As you say its not good mines only done 11.5k and the car is superb apart from the wheels but i have heard 108s are a problem but one that i can live with as they look so good.
 
Hi,

My wheels were all bubbled before i bought the car, the dealership i bought it from got them done for £50 a wheel. Well worth it, mine are liek new.
