Newbie

Welcome, I have to agree with Pastry on the colour front and it has the fantastic whippy too. Your now part of the whippy club

Re the go gently, in the last month of my old zed I managed to scrape 3 wheels and the bumper :tumbleweed: so I'm driving very nervously at the moment ( avoid Mitchell st car park in Glasgow, the ramps are tight ! Oh and st James centre in Edinburgh too )

No, I meant more go gently with the stonechip paintbrush/applicator - if used. I remember standing back to wonder and marvel at my brush skills after filling in a multitude of stonechips and thinking: 'it looks worse now than before you muppet!'.
Don't know if it was a different-shade problem but there always seemed to be a sort of shadow/dark spot after applying, even though I took every caution to get the paint even, followed by a smattering of laquer.

But yeah, going gently while driving always helps. And staying away from 155mph on the Autobahns helps too

Ahh Chris I see, I used to work at a car wash ( one I hasten to add I would NEVER use)
.... always best to go to a specialist for paint jobs ! We have some great roads for driving in East Lothian, I can honestly say I have never driven at 155mph, knowing my luck I'd get caught '

If ur bimmers capable, EVERYONE should experience the exhilaration of doing 100mph+ at least once or twice!
Take it over to the nurburgring and let rip on the Dottinger Hohe. Lots of de-restricted autobahn on the way there too
Anyway, less chit chat, more pics laydee!

My hubby had a lotus exige, it was never quite the same after the Nurburg ring  . Don't think I'll be doing that . I've just made seen my old Z on the Eastern website...looking good and would be a great buy for anyone ...wish we had haggled on the trade in now ! I see they've changed my old wheels  Will take pictures over the weekend

You can tell I'm new, what's a whippy !

It is the beautiful, long and slender aerial that graces the rear of your Zed.

Some of the more deluded members on the Forum seem to think that the dwarf/midget/stumpy aerials look better, but they are wrong!

Ahh, thank you...to be honest I hadn't even noticed it  .... Too busy enjoying the roof down, heated seats and recording my favourite cd's ....I will have a look in the morning ! I have noticed some posts on stumpy aerials and did wonder ....

Stubbys are the best look. Whipys are for people who enjoy questionable bedroom antics.

I have heard some of the more 'elderly' forum members have a floppy one, or whippy as they like to call it but hey, you'll always find people who love antiques :P

This thread is becoming far far too ambiguous. I suggest we quit while we're ahead....?
