Hi all

I have never joined a car forum before, I came across this looking for a solution to a problem. I found that the comments are really useful.

Just bought my Z4 but it's just not the best weather for it in the UK!

Hi Gooner, don't worry about having a soft top in winter, they are insulated/lined & should be warm & draught free
Plus on dry days you still have the fun of dropping the roof & dressing like biggles! :driving:
Regards

You need a photo bucket account to host pics
Have a look in the newbies section an there's a guide

Well I had an S2000 years ago, that car collected rain in the winter. The seals around the roof was crap. Hope this car isn't like that. I'm finding it more comfortable and less noisy. Loving it!

Welcome to the club, the weather is just dandy for our soft top cars at the moment, well it is down South  The only thing you need to do with the soft top is make sure the drains are kept clean, you don't want water sloshing around the motor. :)

Hi there Gooner, Welcome aboard. Look forward to a few pics of your new P & G when you get a chance. Fine bunch on here and plenty of Coupe vs Roadster banter. good to see you bought the right one.

Cheers, I actually went for the 2.0 version mainly for the road tax reasons. In my old age it's no longer about speed.
