Congrats on your Zed

Mods wise here are a few I've done/planning if you want some inspiration:
Cosmetics-
I had aero body kit on my previous pre facelift Z. Gives the car a more aggressive front end and IMO enhances the overall look of the car.
Angel eyes I like a lot but look a bit of a nightmare to fit, plenty threads on this, so I haven't tried... yet.
'De-ginger' the headlamps and indicators. If the orange of the headlamps and side repeaters insult your eyes then you can replace with clear to achieve a facelift look. As above with angel eyes, not for the feint hearted!
Stubby aerial to replace the 'whip'. The gentle mans choice
I recently replaced the oem gear knob for a ZHP job. Recommended by quite a few people here for looks and improved gear changes.
I retrimmed my dash in carbon vinyl. Bit of a nightmare job but preferred it to aluminium.

Function-
I fit an aux input so I can play my Iphone through stereo with no loss of sound quality. East to do and cost £10.

Other-
I never got round to this (wasn't aware when I had my 3.0i) but some peoples have removed foam from the sound generator to increase the sweet sound of that NA straight six in the cabin (assuming you have 3.0, can't see from photos).
Gaptech lets you raise and lower roof remotely from your key fob and allows the roof to operate from one touch of dash control (rather than holding button down). Looks pimp 8)

That's a few to get you started. Sure others will add to this list to whet your appetite!!

I appreciate the advice dude, I like the idea of the aux mod and roof from the key fob, can u give the links to get the parts? Oh mines the 2.5 by the way! Like the carbon look u have done

Here's the aux cable I bought off ebay:

It plugs straight into back of head unit. I ran the cable down the back of stereo and drilled a hole in the panel below the AC control (panel easily pulls off). Here is a link on how to remove vents and stereo as that's the only real fiddly bit:

Here is a link to aux fitting. I didn't route it into the ashtray, I followed the second suggestion and put it onto the panel below AC controls. Each to their own I guess. Both nicely discreet but I think the panel is a better option as I don't need to keep ashtray open all the time.

For the remote hood a lot of people use this

Sometimes group buys appear on the forum so discounts can be had buying in bulk. Not sure if one is running just now. Search for gaptech in the search bar for how to DIY guides

I was only looking that last night on here! Looks and sounds so good! Anywhere near Birmingham or Tamworth
