HI guys i bought this just before christmas and have loved every second of driving it, some people may know the car. I thought i would chuck up a newbie thread, ive always been into dubs but have decided to come to the dark side and this came up and i fell in love so i just had to have it.

Im 22 years old. looking to do a few changes, need to raise it up as living in london its not at an ideal height, also plan on reducing the stretch on the rear tyres and getting rid of the camber so tyres last longer lol. Had a new engine fitted last week as a hose burst and no warnings came up due to a faulty sensor and overheated causing head bolts to strip etc but now its back alive and even better with a low mileage engine in it. want to get a louder exhaust and just tidy a few things up in the interior like a diiferent steering wheel

heres a few pics

Quite an intro into the Z world , slammed , overheated & a new engine . Big learn curve in a short time but look forward to seeing how things go

it is really low, what sort of rear tyre width could i run on the rears they are 10j with around 17-18mm spacers not sure on offset but thety are x5 wheels if that helps its currently running a 235/35/19 which is abit too much stretch for my liking any ideas people

I'd go for some 108s in a custom finish with 20mm spacers. Would look great without the excessive camber

Welcome, such a shame to hear you had such a failure so early on, quite unusual.

Otherwise welcome, have fun finding routes around all the speed ramps

Hey I really liked that car. I definitely would end up ripping the front bumper off...thats very very low....

cheers guys! really need to raise it i hate hearing sraping sounds when going over bumps and hearing that front lip hit the floor on bumpy roads lol

Welcome to the forum

What nightmare having the engine go, looks like Marius dodged a bullet there...

Out of interest, do you get any rubbing inside the arches with that set-up as it is now ?

no rubbing at the rear, front does rub on full lock etc when going over a bump. Raised the front around a inch today, has made a massive difference with clearance between the front splitter and the floor but doesnt look alot if that makes sense. cant adjust the rear at all tho as marius removed the adjusters and i havent got them :(
