Newbie!

Cheers! yeah its my 1st auto, got that box more for the mrs to be honest but enjoying playing with it :D

bit of a step up from the ibiza FR anyway!!

My first auto too, love it though. Had two Ibizas, a 130 Sport when they first came out about 6 years ago, and then an FR 130 about 4 years ago.
 
Mike did you have an auto on a Z4 or your SLK?

The Mrs has an 07 SLK 280 auto without paddles.....not entirely convinced by that box, not sure if its the same in the 350 but seems a bit lazier than the z's??

sure your the same but can't say I'm missing the beeza now anyways!

I had a manual 3.0 Z4 and now my SLK is an auto, same box as your 280, also without M mode/paddles. You need to keep it in S mode to get the best from it, but also the 350 is a bit pokier low down than the 280. It is adaptive though, so the more you thrash it the better it gets. The manual control of the Z4 'box is much better.

They've just revised the 350 'box for the 2008 facelift, throttle blips on downshifts, etc - much better.

Lol, went home to see the parents and my mam had got herself a new car too with the old one on the drive, not just collecting random cars!! 8)

I cant see a button? You mean on top of the gear knob, or above the "P"? Where does it display which mode you're in?

and... and what on earth is that suspicious looking hair in the ashtray???? :whistle:
 
Ah u mean the silver square above the 'P'?

Could be fun time tonight then :evil: Can't believe we've had it for a year and I've never found it!!

And is that button next to your heated seat the Air scarf? option wish we had got now!!
