Hi all,

Just bought my first BMW - a 2004 Z4 3.0i SE Roadster :)

Sterling Grey
Black Oregon Leather - M Sport memory seats
Bluetooth + multi-function wheel
Star split rim 18's
SMG
Wind Deflector
Extended storage
Nav Professional
CD changer
Carver Hi-Fi

I'm not sure what half of them differ from standard, but it seemed a fair list anyway!

Matt :)

Your amongst friends here…..Welcome to the forum from this side of the rainbow. :)

Also, what are my options for iPod now? I've got an iTrip for the minute, but the quality isn't amazing.

Will I lose my CD changer? I'm not too worried about that, I don't have many CDs now anyway.

Welcome to the forum :)

You could install an AUX socket as many have done - including me (see here), or take the more expensive route of Intravee (?) etc

Hi all

Fellow newbie here.

I just traded in my Z4 (2004) 3.0i and got the Z4M. Oh Boy. The best cars ever and the most fun to drive. Wait for when you have the roof down on a sunny day; you'll have a grin on your face from ear to ear!

Re Ipod connection. Harmon Kardon do an excellent device called the drive+play. I had one installed on my 3.0i and it worked beautifully, so I left it in for the next owner and got another one put in on the Z4M. My tip is to have it 'hard wired' into the hifi rather than use the inbuilt radio frequency it works on. If you have an aux in then it'll connect up to that.

The Harmon Kardon unit is going for about £50 if you surf around. I just paid £160 installed.

I'm not sure what I get really, not really compared it!!

The car performed well today on the PH Kent Run, and was not far off the pace of some of the fastest cars! Just the driver that needs to improve now...

Forogt to post up a picture - from the end of the run in the car park:
